The temple is where players go to restore their HP (at a price of course). Due to the wisdom of the priests, it is also a good place to learn about the history of Imperia.

History
The priests of the Temple of Imperia tell that, in the past, great minds came to cultivate new wisdom. They were people very interested in deepening their knowledge about Holy Wisdom. Many of the existing books and scrolls were written by King Albus himself and some of the most powerful priests that humanity has ever known. Due to the large influx of monks, priests and clerics coming from of all existing regions, they moved all this wealth of knowledge to the Library of Imperia. It was a matter of physical space and mental and spiritual peace.
298 years ago, the Kings found out there was an entrance to some sort of catacombs, apparently guarded by those stinking lizards. Because of the writings and drawings on their walls, it is believed that the power of their shamans or templars avoided a great evil lodged inside to escape. All we known about the catacombs is that King Albus created a sacred barrier to seal the entrance, and that only Queen Rubra survived a brutal battle in which we lost the other 6 kings.
After the Battle of the Fallen Kings, which is how the battle in the catacombs is known, Queen Rubra, sole survivor of the 7 kings, built the temple of Imperia above the entrance of the catacombs. The temple is the oldest building in all Imperia. She thought the power of priests, both teachers and learners, would keep the entrance sealed. But the truth is, that was not the case, because since then we have this unbearable stench shaking Imperia and its surroundings.
Queen Rubra, since then, in order to end with all this evil and stink, is thinking of a new offensive in the catacombs, but only when our teachers have trained enough soldiers...
