Introduction

One of the great things about Pandimus is the ability to create a character based on whatever skills and attributes are given to you. Do you want to be a virtuous knight who trains with the sword to deliver holy deliverance to his enemies or perhaps a mage who casts a disastrous mixture of fire and dark powers together? The only thing stopping you from creating your dream avatar is the limit of your imagination.

Getting Started

When first creating a character, you have several choices to make. One of those choices is a basic class template. This template will define what skills you will be raising at the start. (Don't worry if you're not sure about your choice. Everything can be changed.)

Attribute

Attributes are the basic stats of your character. Currently, 3 attributes exist:

Dexterity (Increases hit chance, your turn priority and the chance the enemy will miss you)

Power (Increases attack effectiveness, both physical and magical)

Vitality (Increases health)

All 3 of these attributes have several skills linked to them. This means that if you increase the skill, the attribute will increase as well.

The current cap on attributes added together is 600.

Skills

Skills are what determines your class in Pandimus. If Attributes are the cement of your character, these are the bricks to build it. There are 2 types of skills: Combat and Support skills. They have a respective cap of 600 and 200.

Support skills are either aggro managing (Provocation and Silent Discipline), restorative (Restoration and Survival) or increase loot drops (Scavenger).

Combat skills are divided into 3 types:

Attack

These skills increase your hit chance and damage with either physical or magical attacks. Take care when choosing these as having a high physical damage on a mage is quite useless (unless you are a melee mage but let's not go there.)

Defense

These skills increase your defenses, ranging from restoring health to blocking attacks and countering with parry.

Mastery

These skills are the foundation of your build. They allow you to use disciplines of the chosen mastery. By default, every character has a single mastery, but nothing's stopping you to exchange an Attack or Defense skill for another mastery. Note that 1 is the minimum masteries you can have as a character without any mastery would be unable to fight.

Disciplines

Disciplines are learned at the city center. The academy teaches melee abilities while the library teaches mage abilities. Every 10 point increase in a mastery allows you to upgrade your disciplines to your mastery/10. Once you have learned a discipline, you can use it through the attack panel (see Interface). As of writing, every mastery has access to 10 disciplines.

Titles

Currently, titles serve no use except vanity purposes and the small amount of gold you get from them. Current title tracks are:

Adventure (slaying monsters)

Work (working at a shop)

Honour (killing players in tournament battles)

Sales (selling items at the auction house)

There is also a special title you can earn by mastering a skill (getting it to the maximum allowed value, currently 100) and a title you get when you rank first in a gold tournament.
